what do i need to make my game need for speed 2 and the prince of persia run smoothly?

im running:
2.4g intel processor,1gig ddr ram, 80gig + 40gig hard drive,
9600 pro series radeon 3D Prophet.

Try these steps:
1. Close unneeded programs
2. Disk Cleanup
3. Turn in-game settings lower
4. Virus and Spyware scan
5. Defragment your harddrive

If you want best graphics, looks like all you need is a better gfx card (if that one cannot do it). Those are not very new games, so you shouldn't need like a 6800 or X800 to do the job. Maybe just a Nvidia 5900, 6600, or maybe a radeon 9800.
