If there's an area where this normally would fit better, telling me now would be a good thing. I'd like an answer seeing the Q6600 isn't going to stay at roundabout 250 dollars (160,- euros that is). Nor are the 8800GT"s going to stay at about 210 dollars (130,- euros).
And I found out that I can either try and bend two of the fins on the one that goes in between both or I can get a flexible SLI bridge (or just maybe it will fit right in between the fans, long shot). So it'll stay on two Accelero S1 Rev2's
And I myself am now pushing towards that Q6600 seeing it OC's good and works on a 680i chipset (XFX 680i LT). Not that the Q9450 doesn't OC good, but it won't do that same 680i board. And seeing the 780i/790i is out of my budget I'd have to get a 750i for future SLI... And I prefer 2x PCI-e 16x slots over one x16 PCI-e v2.0 slot and one x8 PCI-e (v2.0 ?) slot...
