Default LF Mac/PC printer Suggestions

hi guys, i have a lexmark x1240 hooked up and shared through my network but im unable to to find any kind of drivers to allow my wifes mac to use it.

so im looking for a printer that will let me share it on the network. if it can hook directly to my router that would be great but not needed. it just has to be both mac and pc compatible. also, im wanting, copy/scan features. and at least the same specs as what i have now.

Spec page: http://www0.epinions.com/Lexmark_X12...ay_~full_specs

i'd like to keep the price down if i can. so if ya got any ideas pls keep them around 100$.

any and all ideas appreciated. thanks guys

Well, that Lexmark won't work with Macs, period. The HP C4280 is an excellent printer at about $100 US, and is compatible with Mac OS 10.3.9 or 10.4 or higher as well as Windows 2000, XP and Vista. Plus it has the option of a standard and high capacity cartridge that gives you some flexibility with the printing costs...
