Default Problems with Video Card?

I just installed my 7600GS, and installed the Drivers from the Nvidia site. I tried to play San Andreas, and it goes to a black screen and says "Input not supported"

What is up? Could it be the driver I installed from the site?

The driver should be fine, but test it with a program like Everest to make sure everything is working properly. You should also have a tab in the display properties page with nVidia settings. Device manager can also show ou if the drivers are properly installed. Have you tried any other games or graphic applications?

I ttried playing Hitman Blood Money, which is much newer than SA, and it worked fine.

I just tried SA again and found out that the game is actually running. When I start it up I can hear the intro videos playing then I can hear the menu sounds as I move my mouse around. There is just nothing displaying on the screen??

It has a message that moves around the screen saying "Input not supported?

I'm on XP.

But for me it happens right when I start the game up, and it has a message that moves around the screen.

Means that (example) your LCD or CRT can only support 1024x768, and the game is running at 1280x1024

Well that was weird, I deleted my settings folder for SA and it works fine, then I set it back to the same resolution I had it at before and it works great.
Don't know what that was all about.

Also, my LCD supports 1440x900
