Default Help choosing CPU

Im just doing some research on which cpu i should get. Im not into games but i do want a good cpu for music/movies and multi-tasking. Here are the 2 cpu's ive been looking at.

Intel C2D E6750 OEM Intel C2D E6600
2.66 GHz, 4MB 2.40GHz, 4MB
Cache 1333MHz Cache 1066MHz
Price $199 (tigerdirect.com) Price $239 (tigerdirect.com)

The e6750 is the better chip, comes with a Hs/f, and is cheaper. What decision is there to make?

But make sure that you get a motherboard that supports 1333MHz FSB (like Intel P35)

The E6750 is OEM, meaning it's just the processor, no heatsink. You'll need to buy a heatsink in order to use it.

either way you want to stick an aftermarket cooler on there to keep her nice and chilly but its def a better processor... go for it and get a good mobo

Get the retail instead if you don't want to spend that much money on a heatsink/fan
