Default Video / LCD questions

I have a 19" LCD widescreen right now and just an intgrated xpress 200 card right now but will upgrade that soon... whats a good pcie gpu that will get good fps on this monitor for under 100$?? and also what should i change my refresh rate to before and after the upgrade? thanks

refresh rate doesn't really matter on desktop. doesn't show too much difference. for your budget card. i say you can only run at 60.

for your budget i would suggest you buying a card on ebay. i would say a 7800GT OCed or none OCed. you can OC yourself anyways.

what about ATI ?? like a 1300 pro ?? xt?? and should i take my chances with a used card?? saw a 1300xt for like 30$

thats a low end entry card dude you wouldn't want it. how about x1650. it is a mid end card.

7600gt is a much better card than the 1650pro, and it's around the same price.
