No, actually. Even supercomputers can't match 200,000+ computers running these programs. Besides, it would cost millions to operate a supercomputer. The people running this don't have enough money to build a bunch of supercomputers and run them.

We are in 449th place! Congrats everyone! We've been stuck int he 450s for quite some time, but now we are speeding back up in the standings!

We're sticking around the 7000s range, maybe one of these days we'll hit 8000PPD!

Greetings!

I was looking back over a post I made around the beginning of this year, and I made a 3,000,000 point goal for 2007. That means, we still need more people to fold. Right now we are hovering in the high 7000s, or low 8000s, but we need at least 9500PPD to get to 3 MILLION Points. I know we can do this, we just need a few more people!

I just tried downloading the software and after it finished I allowed it to install and it looked like the window tried to pop up but nothing happened. I clicked it a few more times and still nothing. Anyone else have that prob? I got the one for Vista which is what I'm using....

Congrats everyone!

Team #44358 - Computer Forum, has passed the 2 Million point mark!

By the end of the year, there will be nearly 2.75 million points to our name (at the rate right this instant, 2.875 million). 3 million points is so close! However, in order to get to the 3 million mark, we need ~9500 PPD (~1220 more than right this moment).

Greetings everyone! Seems as if there has been a slump in my absence. Let's pick this up again!

Hmm. Hopefully that isn't true .

Consider: My main folding rig's PSU went out (I believe), so it is gonna get some downtime ;(. Hopefully back up running shortly.
