I'm always folding at least 2-3 hours a day on a sempron 3300+.

I want to give a great cheer for CF!

Today, Team 44358 set a new record: over 10,000 points a day for the past 7 days! Amazing! During the beginning of the month, we were below 5000PPD, so this represents a doubling of PPD!

I want to encourage anyone who hasn't heard about this, or was hesitating, or hasn't folded for a while, to chip in. The team hasn't peaked out yet (I'm assuming that it will be around 11k in the next few days), and the big 15,000 is only a bit fruther!

Now, you may ask, what is the big deal about 15,000 points per day? Well, 15,000 points per day puts the team into the "Green" category, which is 15,000 to 30,000. So far in the history of the team, we have been a Dark Blue team (5000 to 15000, usually we were around 5000-6000PPD). If we were to have an average of 15,000 Points per day, that would be an amazing achievement (not to say that 10,000 isn't one ).

That extra 4000PPD won't be too hard to get! It just takes a few people who will fold with their Core 2 Duos 24/7. For your information, a Core 2 Duo at 3.0Ghz will get around one 1760 point work unit a day. Mep's Quad core processor is capable of turning in one 1760 point work unit every 15 hours or so.

So, all we need is:
2+ more Core 2 Quad processors or,
4+ more Core 2 Duos!

This was a great idea. In fact, Jet's comments about F@H lead me to join the team. We should start a new challenge!
