the problem: my phone line is very fuzzy and of poor quality. it is not due to the phones because we tested about 3 different ones with the same result. however, we have an ADSL 2+ filter on the phone line, which does help remarkably (without is just noise). yet, we dont have one on the line that goes into the modem. would it at all be effective to have a separate filter on the modem line too?
