wow am surprise, if you can't follow this guide then if you go to ubuntu forums you wont be able to understand anything. seems you're rushing.
Go to your package manager do a search for : - gstreamer0.10-plugins-ugly
- gstreamer0.10-plugins-ugly-multiverse
- gstreamer0.10-plugins-bad
- gstreamer0.10-plugins-bad-multiverse
- gstreamer0.10-ffmpeg
install them one by one, after that reboot your pc
edit : i forgot to add you need to search for "libdvdcss" in Synaptic, install those too
