Thumbs up Help Please :) Im Looking For A Integrated 7.1 Channel Auido Driver!

I bought a dell a bit ago and my integrated sound card isnt working on there.

My computer is a Dell C521.
The Integrated sound card is / Integrated 7.1 Channel Audio

I have been trying to find the driver all night and i cannot find one.

So if someone can please ! help me ! lol find one or if they happen to have the same computer as me let me know. Thanks

i saw one that i downloaded to a CD and put on the other computer and it didnt do anything

Read this forum, it has a link to that driver.


But it also seems that Dell in all their wisdom installed different devices in different builds of this same system. So while they are all c521's they will have different chipsets or cards. So you need to find out which audio chipset you have and then find the driver for it.


Just one more reason to NEVER buy from any big system builder. Always build your own!!!

i dont blame him, my first build was very intimidating.

but if he knows what a driver is it should be easy lol

well should contact the dell 24/7 customer service. or maybe window vista will automatically solve it for you ^_< that is if you have it
