View Single Post - Wireless N card; will I get same speed off a wireless G router?

Basically, I am going to purchase a Wireless N desktop card, and it says it has speeds of up to 300 MBPS. It says it is backwards compatible with wireless B/G networks. So if this card were connect to a wireless G router, could I still have the 300 MBPS transfer speed w/o the wireless N router?
