Default Help Please

My friend gave me a disc which he said had Microsoft Office 2003 Professional on it and he gave me a key to go with it, the disc is not an official one as its just a normal rewritable disc, what i want to know is that is it legal for me to use and install Office 2003 or not, i would like to use Office 2003 but cant afford this, i currently use openoffice.org

Put it this way, if that copy is a backup and the key that goes with it and its (not) installed on another computer I dont see anything wrong with it. But if its installed on another computer its illegal!
