g'evening ladies and gents, im jimmymac, been working with Pc's now for about 18 years, started off with my favourite pc, my 80286, 60mb HDD, even came with a 5 1/4 inch floppy. reason it was my favourite...cos i didnt need to upgrade for about 4 years  Can see my current pc in my sig, only built about 2 days ago. Nothing top of the market or incredible. Didnt feel the need for an all out upgrade as the market is approaching some big changes soon so figure i'll go all out towards the end of the year/early next year. As for overclocking, not bothered yet as i dont game too much and things are speedy enough for my needs at the moment but who knows what the future will bring

'Ello everyone. I guess I should start with a little bit about myself. My name is James. I'm 18 years old and graduating high school in a month, going to college for an IT degree (possibly networking not sure yet) and I am already taking a few of the first year classes through a co-op program with my high school. I have to say that this forum is something I have been looking for quite some time. I have two interests (aside from the stuff that everyone should be interested in, you know, hygiene, eating right, relationships etc.) and those interests are cars and computers (in no particular order). I've been a member of car forums for a while but never any good computer forums. So here I am.
There's more but this is longer than most posts I've seen here already (granted I didn't read all 66 pages of posts). I hope to learn alot and contribute if at all possible. James |
