Whilst all components have their part to play in game performance, the biggest factors are the graphics card followed by the cpu. Overclocking may help, but may make very little difference if the graphics card is rubbish to start with. It's easier to overclock a graphics card than a cpu, with there being far less variables to juggle, and handy applications like the Coolbits registry tweak or ATITool are made for such ventures.

If you double post accidentally at any point, when you click on the edit button you have the option of deleting the entire post, just in case you didn't spot that.
