Official Welcome/Introduction Thread

I never did introduce myself, did I? I just kind of jumped in and started having fun.

My real name is Aaron. I live in Barrie, Ontario in Canada. I have a lovely common-law wife named Veronica, although we are kind of split up, yet still together, at the moment. Try and figure that one out. lol

I have been in computers for 18 years, 9 of them in business. I do networking, troubleshooting, repairs, maintenance, sales onsite on servers, workstations, firewalls, RIPs, personal computers and laptops (software and laptop sales only). I am a Microsoft partner and Panda reseller, and a former Western Digital authorized reseller. Blech.

I love cars as I showed in another post. The more the merrier.

We have lots of pets. An oscar and a bunch of cichlids, two turtles, a siamese, a calico, 2 black kittens and a boxer/mastiff puppy. It can be really interesting around here, let me tell you.

Anyways, that's more or less me in a nutshell. Sort of.

My real name is Shady as i mentioned in other posts i'm 19 next month
i passed 2 years of computer science with a B+ grade and with the 1st place in projects
gonna start 3rd year next month
i'm a graphics guy most of the time i work with Photoshop and Maya
other than that i like Programming C++,C#, a little Java and very little assembly x86.
I also like networking ... but it's more of a hobby

something i do in my spare time.
I play football(soccer) and squash.
that's pretty much it.

Only just seen this thread, better late than never.

No surprise that my name is Simon, I'm 26 and live in England, UK.

Been into computers since I got an Amiga 500 when I was 11. Gave Microsoft the finger last year and now a full time Linux user. Fiddling with Linux is now my main hobby.

I'm also a bit of a car enthusiast, my brief car history for those interested:

1st Car: Mk1 Renault Clio Les Routiers 1.2 8v 60Bhp
2nd Car: Mk1 Renault Clio 1.8 16v 137Bhp
3rd Car: Mk3 Vauxhall Astra GSi 2.0 16v XE (redtop) 150Bhp
Current Car: Ph1 Renault Megane Coupe 2.0 16v 150Bhp

I loved my Astra GSi (lowered, 17" 's, chipped, DTM exhaust) but everything went wrong on it at once and I couldn't justify repairing it so I replaced it with the megane.

I live with my partner and her 2 monsters (kids) in a pretty rural village.
