Recommend a scanner?

Can anyone recommend a scanner under the £100 mark please?
I have no experience of scanners and would be mainly scanning documents, and the occational picture.
I'm sure I've seen some scanners with software which can recognise text and allow editing, this would be very useful.

Actually Visioneer scanners are cheap, And also model number I beleive 8920
can take your 35 MM film negatives and scan then to make pics on your PC..
They are on ebay under $35.00 and Its a great scanner I have 1 here and 1 at my office
