Deathrow

I bought a new pc with windows vista home premuim, had no problems with any other games. However I installed doom3 without a problem then I installed the ressurection add on for it and it showed up 2 installations of the original doom3 including the add on. Strange but it still played. I decided I wanted to see what fps I get maxed but with the new patch it caps it at 60 so I decided to uninstall and reinstall. It uninstalled but there was still showing a copy of doom3 in windows uninstaller, strange yet again. I tried uninstalling but it said it was already uninstalled. So I decided to install doom3 again, however when I tried to run it said doom3.exe doesnt exist. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling many times now and it wont budge. I checked the registry and documents for any traces and cant find doom3 installed yet it still shows a copy in windows uninstaller. I was woudering if anyone knew how to fix the problem or a way of finding doom3 in the registry?
