Default amd athlon 64 3500 or 3800 at only 50 pound diff

hi i wana get a good processor which would u reomend the amd 64 3500 with 90nm socket 939 winchester or teh 3800 newcastle with a 120nm also socket 939 with only a 50 pound price difference i could get either one which is the best to buy.

The athlon 64 3800+ is the better cpu. If you dont mind the money I would proberly get the 3800+. In most gamming benchmarks I seen you get anywhere from 5 to 25 more FPS from the athlon 64 3800+. I am pretty sure the athlon 64 3800+ is the top cpu you can buy with out getting a athlon fx or athlon 4000+(which is based on the athlon 64 fx-53) and the fx series or 4000+ is quite a big price increase.
