Geeze... For two bucks I would of snatched it too ;P The board and processor are both fair. The motherboard uses DDR400/PC3200 RAM.

well...it does...but I like really good sound...I'm a bit of a stickler like that. So I don't need to put two sticks of ram in at a time? I thought you had to do that with this board?
So this guy at the garage sale. His son had a ton of computer stuff and when he went of to college the dad sold it all, and had no idea what any of it was.

there,there, that's the board

Hmmm...the link worked just fine for me...here's the URL at least

http://shopper.cnet.com/motherboards...-30473783.html

Eh, I don't play anything to demanding, halo, age of mythology, half life 2, maybe fear? well, grudgingly I've decided that I don't need a soundcard...on a gpu and ram and a psu I'd say my max is around $150-$200 oh, and should I stick with the CPU that's on it (pentium 4 2.4ghz sl6sr)?
thanks a bunch!

so, if I bought:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820211086

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817170012

and:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814161082

I'd be fine?

edit: I just realized...that's a little much for me right now, is there any way I could go cheaper on the video card?
