Help, lowered my brightness to lowest

I was fiddling with my color/gamma/brightness settings on my laptop and i cranked brightness down so i couldn't see anything. I then tried to crank it back up, but I couldn't because I couldn't see anything. I then rebooted to hopefully fix the problem, and nothing, it's still pitch black. What can I do??
