Im wondering what methods people use to get rid of files that are placed there by some installations. but not removed in the un-installations.
For example im looking in my Windows folder and theres a bunch of.. well its a big mess. Is there someway i can sift out the useless crap? Another example. i have random text files in my c drive. many logs. and scans and junk. I also have 2 random folders in my C: called i386 and f73fc297b1e034f28a8128aa539c6b1c. wtf is that? I would go ahead and delete all these random things myself but im afraid of deleting the wrong thing! Some tips would be great help. Thanks in advance |

hmm...i cant see what would go wrong by deleting the "useless crap" from the windows folder...*deletes*... *crashes*...*pays computer guy to reinstall windows/loses all data*.
i think(?) i agree with patrickv (you were being sarcastic, right?). i think widows would stop you before deleting any critical folders.
