Default Want to test my new pc

i bough a computer off of ebay and it only comes with 30 day warranty, so iw ant to test the sh*t out of it and make sure its not going to crap out, iw as wondering what kind of test i could do, and also it says it has a COA version of Vista is there a way to make sure its got a COA

You can run memtest and prime 95 (5+ hours on prime)

well i ran the mem test and apparently my ram is fin, i left it over night, i was too scared to try prime casue its not recommended for windows vista, few questions though
this is my first time running vista how to a run programs like
msconfig

and how do i disable all of those stupid effects
