actually i think it may just be the fault of the desk for the shake. the desk had a top part with draws and cabinets and such and i took that off because i used it for nothing but to hold my speakers on from my last sound setup. i don't think it's the new speaker that causes this. i tilted the monitor back a little to keep the speaker from sliding forward and crashing onto my monitor screen though.
i went to circuit city to buy these speakers yesterday and they were listed for $99 although on circuit city's website they were $79 with a $10 rebate. when i inquired about matching online pricing, the guy didn't take note of the mail-in rebate and so he just saw 69.99 and so that's all i paid for them. haha, awesome! i am so bad about rebates anyway, especially ones for $10.
