Default Damages to mobo and cpu due to overclocking?

SYSTEM:

Intel Pentium 4 2.8GHz
256MB DDR266 (Gave mom my 768MB DDR400, getting DDR400 1GB soon)
GeForce FX5200 128MB Dual monitors
DVD Drive
52x CD Drive
Pc Chips P25G Skt 478

I just crashed again. It has been doing that before, freezing right before HALO load screen, restarting randomly, around 1-5 times an week.

No BSODs though...

Just checked temps in BIOS - 37-36C idle, 38C board

Cooling shouldn't be an problem... right?

1x Side intake 80mm
1x Rear Exhaust 80mm
Copper HSF with 43CFM fan.
Arctic Silver 5
1x addon 40MM 5CFM Northbridge fan
2x PSU exhaust fans
1x GFX fan

Could I have damaged my board or CPU because of overclocking? Where can I start?

If your trying to run Halo 2 then your system does not meet the minimum requirements of

Video Card: DX9 graphics card: WDDM driver, PS 2.0/32BPP, At least nVidia 6000 or ATI x700 or above.

If it is the original halo, then I would suggest that you turn down your over clocked settings for your video card or CPU. Turn it back just a little bit and test, if it becomes stable then your ok, if not turn it back just a little more and try again.

Run the ATI tool for checking for artifacts, see if your over clocking allows it to run for a couple of hours with no artifacts.

I already underclocked it. No difference. I'm getting worried....

ATITool? It works on Nvidia cards?

Don't download the latest Ati tool, it won't work with Nvidia. Download the 0.25 Beta 12.

It stresses your video card, which will let you know if it is the problem. That way you know if you have your GPU over clocked.
