Default returning my cpu fan (zalman 9700)

ok well I purchased the 9700 model from newegg and realized that It was a 4pin conector...(I know it will work anyhow)
but i would perfer getting the other one because,
1. it looks nicer
and 2.Id rather not have one missing pin on my mobo..

anyways this is the one I currently have....
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835118020

And I was thinking about trading it for this one..
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835118019

now I know there the same but the one I WANT to get only says its compatible with 939 boards but does not list what cpu's.

my question is...
Will this be ok in an O.C'd amd x2 4200??

Thanks

Because there is nothing wrong with it and it would work fine if / when you plug it into the motherboard

The one you have now is great, i don't see why you would want the hassle and they both work just as good. In my opinion i like the black one better. I have the CNPS 9500 (black/ green led) and my temps are great oc'ed with my 5600, 28*c idle.

But i honestly wouldn't fool with it, if you really want the other one because of color go for it.
