Default I need serious help please !!!

I booted my computer not so long ago and from then my speakers arnt working when i go onto control panel then sound audio device in the audio box that comes up it says no audio device. I have been told that i have to download the sound card as i dont have the disc no more can some one help !!

do you have a sound card or onboard sound?

I have no idea what a sound card is ! All i no is since ive booted my computer i have downloaded anythink to do with sound.

Go to control panel then system then hardware and see if there are any inidentifyed devices. If there are then try to install driver from cd try windows XPs CD or download the driver from the net.

This is actually a double post. He listed the same problem under the line PC LINE.

In the future, please make only one post for a topic. If people do not answer it is because they do not know the answer, posting multiple times only annoys people.
