I'm sorry that was my mistake. I meant to refer to the power connections and not the data connections like I did earlier. I meant that the HDD supports both Molex and SATA power connections. Not IDE and SATA data connections.
Oscar, awhile ago I tested it out for about a week and nothing bad happened to anything.
