very true, i once powered 2 virtual machine, windowsXP and suseLinux10.1, windows with 256mb and suse with 512, while my physical machine has 1Gb, it crapped, couldn't even click on the start menu !!

Has anyone here thought that the reason why Mac OSX is so stable is because the hardware is made for the mac OS and the Mac OS is made for the hardware. It's one super tight bond that creates such a strong OS.

ya but with that comes limitations. like you cant upgrade much and you cant expand

How so? You realize that Leopard the most recent OS will run on a G3? Of course it won't run as well as it would on a brand new intel mac but it will run. MS can not accomplish this.
