Default mac os

well i am thinking of getting a mac (although it conterdicts every belief i know) just so i can help more people here and later in life. but my question is will the os run on just a normal pc or do i have to get a mac?

There's two down sides about a Mac...

You have to run it on a Mac computer(unless it's hacked)

They don't run games...

i know they dont run games... there bigest downfall. i want to get to know the os. i know windows, dos, linux... but mac is one i dont know and if i want to help others i need to know the os

Mac will run on a normal pc but discussing how to do that is against the forum rules, anyways Brian you should get a Mac. it has helped me in many ways, its a pretty all round good OS (too bad many ppl hates it)

i hate it... hate to say. i never tried it i am just against the mac " cant change anything" although it does have a reliable os. i will just get a mac mini and just use it to fool around. need to save up a few pay checks and come up w/ a excuse of why i need to get it for my parents/ brother... they will ask for 100 years why i will get it.

edit need a lot of paychecks . need to work more

Im a PC user but i consider myself half Mac half PC !!

I don't use macs very often, but for some reason, I find it really fun. Its almost like playing a game or something.

agreed, its a fun OS to use, yo look forward to do stuff, like customizing etc etc
