Try booting off the recovery CDs (rather than using the HP interface to access them)

So it did not work when you booted with the recovery cd's? as suggested by myself and Praetor.

Ebay sometimes you can find recovery CD's there for your PC...

Ebay.... i don't think so.... anyway it goes to the HP Recovery by itself! and i checked disc two and it seems like it has the right files. Maybe i could download the first CD somewhere?

maybe i should just ditch that system use some of its parts to train me in building a computer and then build a system or maybe sell it to my friend
