Thumbs down google talk

So tell me, why is googletalk still in beta, ever since it was release it was in beta, don't google have any plans to liven up their IM and make it official GOOGLETALK, besides google talk is too plain, missing some feature and lacking bad a** icons and emoticons !!

i use GT but i dont like it personally

If a Google service moved out of beta it would be a sign of the apocalypse. Brimestone would actually burst from the earth in a firey rage.

I'm kind of confused as to why their E-Mail service is still in beta also. I mean, it's been out and functioning for how long? And they've also gone public with it now so (allowing registrations without invitations).

Either that or they're so bothered about keeping face with their new releases that instead of releasing it and if it goes wrong, people bashing it, they simply slap on the word 'Beta' and voila, there is the out if people hate a particular feature .
