Default vista?

hi i am thinking of duel booting vista with xp so i can play crisis but im unshore if i need a dx10 vid card or not.

I'm not really sure what you mean, you dont need a DX10 card to use Vista, or to run Crysis. Although Crysis does support DX10.

no i have heard that crysis is a vista only game and it needs dx10 to run but i am confused because im running a geforce 6800gt graphic card along with vista if i bother getting vista , will my graphic card be able to play it.

You dont need a DX10 card for Crysis, it's backwards compatible with DX9. So yes, your 6800GT will run it, but no one knows yet what kind of framerates and on what settings you can play.
