I have a 250 Western Digital External 2.0 Drive (Passport) . I have a slightly older PC with USB 1 and when I plug in the drive, Windows XP doesn't recognize it. Says I need to update the driver, however, there is no driver available on the WD site. Only for Windows 98.
Anyone have any idea or thoughts on this. BTW- I get the balloon telling me windows doesn't recognize, click on it and it takes me to update the driver. But this doesn't seem to work.
