Smile Sony DVD RAM Drive

Heyya ppl.. m new here..
well i assembled a computer for me which has Sony DVD RAM Drive.. its really cool.. it handles any type of CD or DVD... dual layer,etc types... but 1 prob makes me sick...
its that some CD's do not work.. just to find for no reason.. well the same cd works with LG DVD writer... hmm. it sets me .. thinkin.. well can any1 help.. me out from this.. any wise suggestion is welcome..

What brand of media are you using? It could also be the speed at which you burned it. You also may need to flash your drive and you can check here for firmware http://forum.rpc1.org/portal.php

Hey thanks Kabu.. but m sure that my drive can read or write at any speed that is fastest for the cd or dvd... well then it suggests me that it may not be a firmware prob buddy...
