A quality 550W PSU will do the job, but don't just buy a generic no-name brand - it won't be able to put out the required amount of power for any length of time. Certainly I would consider 550W to be about the minimum with a 2900XT, though.

I do´t think that that´s the minimum, that may be it if you´ld use crossfire surly, but i think for that it´s enough even if you do something you need all performance.
