Default laptop just went dead, wont start back up

i was usin my laptop on battery, and it went dead, no where near lasting as long as it normally does, didnt think much of it, plugged it in, still not turning on, the light that comes on to show its charging isnt coming on and ive tried it in multiple outlets

what should i try, what might be the problem, all i was doing when it crashed was using instant messenger and mozilla w/ about 4 tabs

Strange. Maybe it is your motherboard. Is it going to BIOS?

ok, its not fixed

it is just randomly shutting down, not even w/ the shut down process, just turning off instantly, and its gettin worse and worse, did it about 10 times today already, i can fix it everytime by takin the memory out and putting it back in, but what might be the actual fix for this, so im not constantly doing this all the time

it turns off instantly w/ no warning, then wont come back on til i take th ememory out and put it back in, like when it turns off, i plug the power cord back in an dstill no sign of it working til i take the memory out and put it back in, it seems like a power issue but then i almost know its not by the way it works when i fix it, and when it is on the battery shows 100% life

Is there another laptop you cant test the memory in?
Did you try a different ac adapter, or trying it with out the battery in (if you can)?

ever tried it without the battery in (if you can)?
if you can go into system and it still keeps shuts off and on,
enter safe mode and play around to see if the problem persists.
