Exclamation a347bus.sys problem ! help needed!

Okay, so, where to start?

When I try to turn on my computer, first I get a black screen with white text, and I have to choose to start the system in three different versions of safe mode (don't remember exactly - one is safe mode, the other one safe mode networking, and don't remember the last one), or in normal windows xp.

If I choose the safe mode, I see system files listing, and it stops on a347bus.sys and says that it cannot load it, and that I can press Esc to skip it. Whatever I do it always resets the computer.

If I go to the normal windows xp, then I get the screen with windows loading. After some time, a blue screen of death pops up, and quickly the whole system shuts down. somehow I managed to get what it is that it's written on the screen:

''STOP: c0000218 [Registry File Failure]
>
> The registry cannot load the hive (file):
>
> \SystemRoot\System32\Config\SYSTEM
>
> or its log or alernate.
>
> It is corrupt, absent, or not writable.
>
>
>
> Beginning dump of physical memory
>
> Physical memory dump complete.
>
> Contact your system administrator or technical support group for assistance''

...

I came to find that this a347bus.sys is a file of Alcohol 120% and Daemon tools, and as long as I can recall, I had both installed on the computer.

I've been googling, and I downloaded this file here > http://kent.dl.sourceforge.net/sourc...-1.3.5a_de.iso http://kent.dl.sourceforge.net/sourc...-1.3.5a_de.iso

Then I tried to masterize it with Nero (went to CD > Burn Image to disc, and burnt it onto a CD under the name Image.nrg).

I put the CD in the CD player of my computer, and then restart it. Nothing happened.

I don't know what to do anymore, and I'm in desperate need of help!

Please, anyone?

check your boot options, and make your computer start from the cd not the hard drive

thanx for your reply. hm.. I've never been trying to do that before... so how should I make the computer recognise the CD and not the hard disk?
