Specs:
Athlon XP 2500+ Asus A7N8X Deluxe (Bios: 1013) Corsair XMS TWINX2048-3200C2PRO ATI 9600Pro Creative Audigy2 Western Digital 80GB PATA Drive 2 NEC DVD/RW Burners i run 2 desktops. the above specs belong to my backup system. while trying to resurrect my main Desktop, i pulled the corsair ram out of my backup system and used it to try to bring up my main desktop. when i was finished i reinstalled the ram back into my backup system and tried to boot. this is where things get messed up. during boot the main POST screen comes up but will not do a RAM check and freezes. about a third of the POST screen comes up but thats where it stops. any ideas. here's a video of the boot process of the RAM and the screen. thanks for your help guys. Oooh... LEDs...
Try the RAM from the main desktop. Did you discharge yourself before handling the RAM? Try reseating it or using other available slots.
