Default Broke my friends borthers PC?

I thought it would be funny to mess around with my friends little brither. So i went into his room and flicked the switch on his power supply off (the computer wasnt running it was off)

I went round there today and asked me friend 'was it funny when his computer wouldnt turn on' and then he told me that the pc is broken

It wont turn on at all,

so can flicking the power switch on a power supply off, even when the PC is turned, off damage anything? Or could it just be a co incidence that one of his hardware broke that day at random.

well it may be, but just to be sure, did you ask the friend to switch the switch back?

hmm did you check the surge protector? maybe it was tripped somewhere during the operation? otherwise, make sure you didnt jostle the computer, which can actually unplug components that may have rattled their plugs out a little, happened to me before

Sometimes scientists make things alot harder than they need to. All they've gotta do is put a big spring on the ground where they think it's gonna land, or send a mission to the moon to erect a sign that says "Welcome to Earth".
