Default question about networking

Im gunna be setting up a network for my friends uncle i know how to everthing but they were sayin they want me to make it where there daughter cant access ne thing she shouldnt on the web can some 1 give me some pointers

Some routers have options for this, so checking if the router have it would be the first thing to do

if it doesnt shouldnt i beable to go into the comp and change some settings, see ive never really had to do all this parental control stuff lol but i guess they dont want their 13 yr old daughter experimenting to far on the web

Yeah friend there are some options with the router which helps you to do that..and you can also do it from your pc but i don't know how to do this but surly it happens..there are some passwads that you have to set before running your web so some technique is there..
