I downloaded a trial version of a program. When the trial period was over I aquired the program CD. When I try to load the program I receive a note that another version of the program somehow will not allow the new program to load. I removed anything to do with the trial program including anything in the regestry. I think the problem is that although I have removed all prior versions of the program there is something, somewhere, still left over that is causing the new program to think the lod trial one is still there. Ideas?

While you cleaned the registry values out did you manually remove any and all folders that the trial version created? You can also look in the DocumentsandSettings>user name>Application Data directory for anything there needing to be deleted. Those type folder will contain installation logs now being seen by the full version's installer.
