Exclamation Temp Way to high

Hey guys somehow my temps are to my viewing way to high is this normal ?
P.s i'm using speed fan to tell me the temps

CPU : 54c (No load)
Ambient: 54c
Remote : 61c
Hdq : 44c
Temp one : 44c

normally my temps for cpu are to higher then 33c

Well the Intel Pentiums always did run quite hot compaired to the C2D`s. But them temps are a lill high. Might be a case of applying new HSC (heat sink compound/thermal paste) what eva you want to call it

Arctic Silver 5 seems to be a fav...

That's high, i've a pentium d 805 with stock cooling running at 45 idle (not using arctic silver 5), check that you did set the fan properly but be careful not to remove it unless you have additional thermal paste

Cpu: 71
PSU: 85
Ambient : 68
HD: 49

BTW: i'm using speed fan is that an accuate program or are these temperature less or more ?

D/L Pc Wizard 07 and see what those temps read for your CPU. I was using some lameo program and was reading upwards of 70-80. Always nice to have a 2nd opinion. See if they match up.

Try Core Temp. Seems to be accurate.

Yeah, and if theres a temp thats labled "core" thats what you go by, not "CPU"
