Default USB Composite Device, Mass Storage, Printing Support issue

I reinstalled Windows XP about a month ago on my family’s computer and completely forgot about the printer (a multi function device). The printer worked fine before but now when I reinstall the printer software the computer fails to detect the printer. According to printer company I am missing USB Composite Device, Mass Storage, and Printing Support. So far I have uninstalled all USB components under the device manager and restarted in hopes of these three automatically installing for me but to no avail. Updating the drivers never works either due to the "data being invalid." I called the OEM and they seem to have no idea. I just need to know how to install these drivers. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Are you using the software that came with the printer or did you download the drivers online?
