Hello,
I have a Toshiba laptop which I can't connect to this wireless network(the network is using a Dlink Di-524 router) no matter what I do. I tried using an unsecured network and when I try to repair the connection it says that windows could not finish repairing the probem because the following action could not be completed: Connecting to the wireless network. I tried unsing a WPA and WPA2 protected network and got the same message. Weirdly, when I tried using a WPA2-Auto protected network it gets me connected with limited or no connectivity, when I try to repair, my message was that it could not renew my IP address. I also tried using WEP protected network, but don't remember what it said. I also remember that at some point it would connect(I forgot with what setting), but I could not connect to any website. I am using Windows XP SP2, its nearly a 2 years old laptop. I am quite sure that it is not the computer because it works on another network secured with a Linksys router as well as another one with another unknown router. Now, I am sort of desperate and I ran out of ideas. What more can I do ? What can my problem be ?

I know you are not supposed to bump, but I guess that after 3 days, it gets more acceptable.
