hello all,
when using tracert on the command prompt, it should give me on which the packet is sent; but when I try it on my PC, for example: tracetr www.google.com , it just give me the first hop which is my router, and the rest are all stars ( * ) and request timed out?? Any advice Thanks in advance

here is a good way to test it, with out messing with firewalls. In your router's config set up that machine as DMZ and then try it. If it works then it has something to do at the router level, if it doesn't then it is the software firewall. Turn off DMZ and then make whatever changes need be.
