Default can i hide and unhide a boot menu

Hey guys,

my system has Windows Xp pro and Vista Ultimate dual booted.

what i want to know is ...is there any software that will allow me to hide vista sometimes from the boot order so that my system will just boot up into xp as if vistas not there?

see my family dont understand what to choose when they want to use my pc so therefore i would like to be able to hide and unhide the boot menu.
so i can still keep both vista and xp for when i use Vista,But just set only Xp to boot up next time?

and im not in the house all day now so they cant ask me.

tks
