It is a seperate application. Why on earth would you want to 'eliminate' it? If you don't like it, just close it.

Is your problem that it appears up everytime at startup?

Yes it always appears on start up - though I've made it very small and shoved it to the side so that it is just a thick line. Occasionally it re-appears and is half screen size. I have no use for it.

try disabling it from runtime by using the registry editor
open run and type regedit and press enter.

go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER and double click on it. in the list that appears , navigate to Microsoft and double click . go to Windows and select CurrentVersion from that list and double click again. Go to "Run" from that list and delete the key corresponding to the windows magnifier.

If your'e not in Classic View, in Control Panel you should find "Ease of Access". You can untick the magnifier box their.

Apologise for my recent absence. Very many thanks - tried the Ease of Access and it has worked a treat.
