Question old palm pilot

does anyone know where to download sync software for the old Palm Pilot Professional its the model with the 3com logo (later replaced by U.S. Robotics which bought 3com Palm Pilots)

Have you tried other sync software? I feel pretty sure it should work regardless. Old serial devices weren't nearly as specific about drivers and all as say USB. Most Palms probably sync in similar ways.

if ur using windows u can download the updated version of the palm desktop from the main palm.com website as it should work with older units, just make sure serial is selected in the hotsync icon.

also while ur at it u can check out & try some games, etc.. from my IIIxe support group, and see if any will work on the older pilots.

also take a look @ the links sections for some ol' links and articles.

I suppose u COULD do a yahoo group of ur own, when I was searching for palm groups, esp. for older palms, they ended up being abandoned and very spammy.. :/.....
