toshiba satellite A45-S150 won't turn on

Hi again...

I have a toshiba satellite A45-S150 that i got from a friend and it won't turn on.
I took it to a store and when i put it on the charger it flashed on the charger LED "orange". Anyway, I cannot figure out how to get this laptop to work and my friend doesn't know either. I looked at toshiba's website and google and could not find anything.I don't know if it is a dead motherboard or what but nothing will turn on not even the spinning of the hard disk.

So i'm hella confused on what to do, i know that if i try to get help at like geek squad they'll charge like 100 and prolly won't even be right. So i hope you guys can help.

If it glows orange that means the motherboard should be all right as it is charging the battery, I suggest either trying to turn it on manualls (take switch off ) and see if that is the problem.

sorry i don't understand what you mean
and it wouldn't work even when the battery was out and AC power was in (orange flashing light)

I'm guessing that the orange light is the CHARGE light? If so, then the mobo should be all right. I could suggest that you manually switch it on.

Yes, it is the charge light but i don't know where the manual switch is

Take the switch on the top off, there should be an switch underneath, press that...

do you mean take off the plastic tray thing that has the power and other buttons off and below that there is the actual power button connected to the mother board...press that?
